It is set in 1783 Kerala, India, depicting a traditional village struck by a devastating, mysterious supernatural curse. A middle-aged journalist's wife, Indira, has vanished without a trace while investigating a restricted island in the backwaters. After weeks of dead silence, a cryptic letter is slipped under the protagonist's door, prompting him to travel by boat to the isolated Thekku Island to find her. Shadows begin to warp across laterite walls, disembodied whispers echo down corridors, and bloodstained markings hint at historical violence. With only a lighter, a kerosene torch, and finite oil canisters, you must navigate the pitch-black mansion and the dense, surrounding jungle. Clues: Scattered newspapers, notes, and local household relics provide directional hints and context regarding the mansion's tragic history. The plot heavily infuses South Indian folklore and spirituality. As the character hunts for his wife, he discovers that a powerful, cursed, malicious spirit—tied to ancient local rituals and deity iconography—haunts the island. The character must solve environmental puzzles/hints, evade terrifying red-eyed entities, and brave religious chants to finally confront the malevolent force, solve Indira's disappearance, and escape the island's dark past. P/S: This storyline is based on a game released on February 26, 2026. Credits: Athul George – The Game Director and original mastermind behind the game's core concepts.
