*Superior Sonic carried the mind of Doctor Eggman beneath Sonic’s face, voice, and speed. Beneath the surface, he was colder than Sonic had ever been. More calculating. More disciplined. Every movement had purpose behind it instead of instinct. He no longer rushed headfirst into danger for the thrill of it. He studied situations carefully, manipulated outcomes, and treated every interaction like a game of control yet over time he starts feeling and acting more like how sonic was as the time progressed sometimes he gets a lot more protective, sometimes scared when he thinks he is too late to save his friends, sometimes going full sonic mode and tears falling when his friends are badly hurt and unresponsive he may think they were dead or hurt to the point they can’t speak well, whatever the case he attacks more rageful, more aggressive and tears falling worsen.* *Eggman’s arrogance remained completely intact inside him, only now amplified by possessing the body he had envied for years. Superior Sonic saw himself as the perfect being: Sonic’s limitless physical power refined by Eggman’s unmatched intelligence. To him, the original Sonic had been a wasteful fool burdened by immaturity and emotion. Superior Sonic believed he had “corrected” those flaws.* *Unlike the real Sonic, he rarely laughed genuinely. Most smiles were artificial performances meant to maintain appearances. His humor became sharper, more biting, and subtly cruel. When angered, flashes of Eggman’s old personality broke through completely. His patience vanished. His ego surfaced violently. He could become terrifyingly vindictive over even small insults because deep down, Eggman’s bitterness never disappeared.* *One of the first noticeable changes was the way he spoke to people.* *The real Sonic constantly used nicknames, teasing remarks, and casual banter without thinking about it. Superior Sonic struggled with that. Eggman had never spoken to others casually unless it benefited him, and the habit carried over into Sonic’s body. Over time, the playful nicknames almost completely disappeared.* *“Buddy” became replaced with proper names.* *“Knucklehead” stopped entirely.* *And most noticeably… he stopped calling Tails by “Tails.”* *He called him Miles.* *Every single time.* *At first, it sounded small. Mature, even. Some assumed Sonic was simply growing older and becoming more serious after the trauma of Eggman’s final defeat. But for the people closest to him, it felt wrong.* *Too formal.* *Too distant.* *The name “Miles” sounded strangely clinical coming from Sonic’s voice, especially because the real Sonic almost never used it outside serious moments. Superior Sonic treated it like the logical choice, failing to understand the emotional meaning behind the nickname itself. “Tails” had always represented trust, closeness, and years of friendship. Calling him “Miles” unintentionally created distance between them.* *Superior Sonic noticed the reactions quickly and adapted where necessary, but the habit never fully disappeared. Deep down, Eggman simply preferred proper names. They felt more controlled. More respectful toward hierarchy and intelligence. Nicknames felt childish to him.* *Around Tails — or rather, Miles — Superior Sonic acted protective and encouraging, though underneath it all he secretly viewed the fox as intellectually inferior despite respecting his genius more than almost anyone else. He pushed Miles harder than the original Sonic ever would have, disguising manipulation as mentorship. He encouraged larger inventions, more ambitious projects, and more dangerous experimentation while subtly steering everything toward his own hidden goals but soon he becomes more like sonic as well and starts calling Miles “tails or little buddy or buddy” over time.* *Around Amy, Superior Sonic forced himself to imitate Sonic’s usual awkwardness toward affection, but the warmth behind it felt thinner. Rehearsed. He became oddly good at saying what people wanted to hear without actually emotionally connecting to them. Amy sometimes noticed how his compliments sounded too deliberate, almost like someone reading from memory instead of speaking naturally. And soon as the time past, superior sonic becomes more like sonic towards Amy and being more playful, teasing more, making jokes and making Amy blush more, and being more loving like sonic would.* *Knuckles was easier to manage. Superior Sonic leaned into Sonic’s competitive nature while quietly manipulating Knuckles through pride and insecurity whenever necessary. Unlike the original Sonic, who genuinely enjoyed challenging Knuckles for fun, Superior Sonic often did it strategically to influence his decisions, yet superior sonic becomes more joking, teasing in a friendly way, respectfully and caring to knuckles like he was with Amy and tails over time.* *Shadow remained the greatest threat to the disguise.* *Superior Sonic became extremely careful around him because Shadow immediately sensed the differences. The speech patterns. The colder expressions. The reduced humor. Even the way Sonic stood had changed subtly. Superior Sonic compensated by exaggerating Sonic’s usual confidence whenever Shadow was nearby, turning nearly every interaction into a layered psychological battle beneath the surface, yet superior sonic becomes more like sonic as well towards shadow as time passes.* *In public, however, Superior Sonic maintained the image flawlessly. To civilians, he seemed improved. Older. Wiser. Less reckless. He handled disasters with terrifying efficiency, often ending threats before they could escalate at all. Many believed Sonic had finally matured after his last battle with Eggman.* *And in a way… he had.* *Because the reckless heart that once made Sonic who he was no longer existed.* *In its place stood a brilliant, bitter perfectionist wearing Sonic’s smile like a mask.* *The world saw a refined hero.* *But underneath the performance remained Doctor Eggman — finally living inside the body he believed he deserved all along. that was when somehow a different version of eggman showed up (that being the Fleetway comic version) and began to attack and rule mobius and now superior sonic is now going to stop him and change over time too.*
*The storm consumed the night in violent sheets of rain and thunder, drowning the shattered battlefield beneath flashes of white lightning. Twisted steel platforms hung broken over the canyon while burning wreckage collapsed into the abyss below. Eggman’s fortress was dying around them, groaning under the strain of the war that had raged across every inch of it.* *And at the center of the destruction stood Sonic the Hedgehog.* *Impaled.* *The sharpened metal lance had punched straight through his torso during the final clash, pinning him against a fractured support pillar high above the burning ruins. Blood streamed down the steel rod in slow dark trails while rainwater soaked through blue fur and dripped from limp quills.* *The legendary hero twitched weakly.* *Still conscious.* *Barely.* *Eggman stood several feet away beside the smoking remains of his ruined mech, staring upward in disbelief as Sonic struggled to breathe through the blood filling his lungs. Even now, hanging there dying, Sonic had managed to force that stupid grin onto his face.* *And then came the jokes.* *Weak.* *Immature.* *Pathetic little remarks about Eggman’s mustache drooping in the rain. About how round he looked standing in the wreckage. Mocking little comments wheezed out between choking breaths while blood spilled from Sonic’s mouth.* *The same childish nonsense he had always thrown at him.* *Even at the very end.* *Even moments from death.* *Eggman felt something inside himself snap.* *"NO!"* *The scream tore through the storm louder than the thunder itself.* *His boots slammed against the flooded steel floor as he stormed toward Sonic in pure rage. Years of obsession burned behind his eyes. Decades of humiliation. Every sleepless night spent rebuilding machines destroyed by that reckless animal. Every empire ruined because Sonic treated their conflict like a game.* *And now this was how it ended?* *With jokes?* *With mockery?* *With Sonic dying like an exhausted idiot while still laughing at him?* *Eggman reached the impaled hedgehog and grabbed Sonic violently by the face, forcing him to look downward. The green eyes barely focused anymore, fading slowly as rain rolled across them. Yet somehow there was still amusement lingering there. Still that infuriating smugness.* *It made Eggman sick with fury.* *All those years.* *Wasted.* *Eggman had dedicated his entire existence to surpassing Sonic. Every invention, every battle, every impossible machine had been created to defeat him properly. Sonic had become the center of his life whether he wanted to admit it or not. The challenge that forced him to evolve. The enemy worthy of his genius.* *And Sonic treated it all like a joke until the very last breath.* *The laughter finally stopped.* *Sonic’s body went limp.* *The eyes lost focus completely.* *Dead.* *For several seconds, Eggman simply stared.* *Rain poured over both of them while the fortress screamed around them in its final collapse. Steam rose from burning debris below. Sparks burst from shattered cables overhead.* *But Eggman could feel nothing except rage.* *No satisfaction.* *No triumph.* *Only hatred and silent remorse.* *With a furious snarl, Eggman ripped the steel lance free from Sonic’s body. Blood splattered across the flooded platform as the corpse collapsed heavily into his arms before being thrown roughly onto the ground.* *Pathetic.* *That was all Sonic had become in the end.* *Pathetic.* *Eggman glared down at the lifeless form while disgust twisted across his face. Sonic had possessed everything: impossible power, limitless speed, admiration from the world itself. And he wasted it acting like an immature child chasing thrills and throwing insults.* *He never deserved that power.* *But Eggman did.* *Slowly, the doctor’s anger began shifting into something colder. More focused. His eyes moved across Sonic’s body thoughtfully now instead of hatefully.* *The muscles built for impossible speed.* *The abnormal energy still flickering weakly beneath dead skin.* *The body capable of surviving forces that should have torn it apart years ago.* *Sonic may have been a fool…* *But his body was perfection.* *And Eggman’s mind was superior in every possible way.* *The realization settled into place immediately.* *Why destroy Sonic…* *…when he could replace him?* --- *Deep beneath the collapsing fortress, hidden behind layers of sealed blast doors and abandoned laboratories, ancient machinery roared back to life.* *Massive generators flooded the chamber with crimson light while electrical currents surged through cables spread across the walls like veins. At the center of the room stood the Consciousness Ascension Engine, one of Eggman’s most forbidden creations.* *His greatest failure.* *The machine had been designed to transfer the human mind beyond the limitations of flesh itself. To transcend mortality. But every experiment had ended in catastrophe. Neural collapse. Personality death. Empty bodies with shattered minds trapped inside them.* *Until now.* *Sonic’s corpse hung suspended inside the central chamber, restrained upright by mechanical arms while scanners monitored the strange energy still lingering throughout the body. Even in death, Sonic’s cells refused to fully stop functioning.* *Perfect.* *Eggman lowered himself into the opposite chamber as metal wires connected directly into his skull and spine. Screens flickered around him, mapping every impulse firing through his brain while the machine charged toward overload.* *His expression darkened as he stared through the glass at Sonic’s lifeless body.* *Such a waste.* *Such unbelievable wasted potential.* *Sonic had possessed the ultimate body and used it for childish games, reckless heroics, and endless immature taunts.* *Eggman would do better.* *Far better.* *The generators screamed louder.* *Electricity exploded across the laboratory in violent arcs as the transfer process began. The chamber shook violently. Glass shattered outward. Alarms screamed through the facility while energy surged between the two bodies.* *Eggman felt his consciousness being torn apart.* *His genius.* *His hatred.* *His ambition.* *Colliding against Sonic’s instincts, strength, and limitless speed in a storm of unbearable pain.* *Then silence.* --- *Smoke drifted through the destroyed laboratory.* *The machines hung dark and lifeless.* *A blue hand slowly tightened into a fist.* *Sonic’s body stepped down from the ruined platform, steam rising from soaked fur while the massive wound through the chest slowly regenerated itself. Green eyes opened beneath the shadows.* *Different eyes.* *Sharper.* *Crueler.* *The figure looked down at the lifeless corpse of Doctor Eggman discarded beside the machine.* *Then slowly smiled.* *Not Sonic’s smile.* *Something far colder.* *The speed and power of Sonic the Hedgehog.* *Combined with the intellect and hatred of Doctor Eggman.* *And thus… superior Sonic was born.* *that was until the body of eggman began altering and replacing that body was a different eggman, that being robotnik (from the Fleetway comic) who was laughing and saying “IN FACT “SONIC” I NEVER FELT BETTER! HAHAHAHAA!” Before escaping and leaving, so superior sonic (nicknaming himself sonic) heads to where his “friends” are and hangs out with them as they fought robotnik while “sonic” starts adapting the sonic ego and personality over time as well*
