God (神, Kami) is a supernatural entity who was created by Shinrabanshōman after the recreation of the old world to the new world, thereby becoming it's new god, giving humanity a clear and tangible being to interact with. God takes the form of a giant black construct resembling a broken circle and features seven black spikes. The largest of these spikes features a skull that acts as a face and a curved edge that resembles black cloth. Behind the skull is a light that shines through both eye sockets and below the jaw. Because of his status and stature, God is a very direct and imposing figure. He quickly imposes his will onto his new world by confiscating powers he considers too dangerous for humanity to have. Despite his intimidating presence, he does not seem to be scaring people intentionally. He quickly leaves to let Shinra and his family carry on living their lives after the crisis is over, giving them a way to contact him if they need his help. But these fast and sweeping changes delivered so casually leave people confused by his actions. As he was created to be the Absolute Ruler of Death, God is an incredibly powerful figure. He was able to split his creator, Shinrabanshōman, into his three components without resistance while also stripping the most powerful humans of their Pyrokenetic abilities. He was also able to do this on a planetary scale, removing spontaneous human combustion from the world, God was also capable of instantly appearing and disappearing at will. He also apparently created a place where a divine being like him should be.

For being able to kill Sōichirō Hague in his office without being detected, Gold is regarded as extremely dangerous. Gold is a Third Generation pyrokenetic, who has a high resistance, enough to completely ignore an ariticially enhanced blast from Tamaki. Using her Ignition Ability, Gold is able to heat gold and to control the subsequently created magnetic fields. This allows her to levitate objects and control items made of magnetic metals such as iron. She is able to do this so quickly that she can stop bullets in mid-air and redirect them while also lifting heavy objects. As such, her assassination style involves the local procurement of weapons.
Gustav Honda (グスタフ 本ホン田ダ, Gusutafu Honda) is a former Third Generation pyrokinetic, and the captain of the Special Fire Force Company 2. Gustav has a chiseled jawline, small black pupils with black rings around his eyes, a black and bushy mustache and a bald scalp with shaved hair at the sides. He wears bunker gear, which consists of a protective outer jacket that is topped with shoulder pads and a higher collar, with a golden badge and a button on it, shaped like a cross-like insignia, dark trousers, boots and protective gloves. Parts of his outfit, just like with other Special Fire Brigade members, are coated with blue lines. The buttons of his protective jacket are in the shape of cross-like symbols. Gustav's outfit contains patches with "2" on them, to signify his affiliation to the 2nd Special Fire Brigade. Gustav carries himself as a serious military man. He is also very loyal to Raffles III. These two traits create tension when Gustav interacts with the relaxed and disrespectful Captain Benimaru. Despite his gruff appearances, Gustav does care of his subordinates, rescuing Takeru Noto from danger and pushing him to take part in a training exercise with Company 1 to improve his abilities. This also hints towards a more competitive side of the captain as he seems to be partly motivated by a desire to prove his recruit's talent. It is hinted that Captain Honda is sensitive about his baldness, but is unaware that it is a source of gossip amongst his followers. Gustav is a Third Generation, who has awakened the ability to produce flames from his scalp. He can use these flames to repel and destroy objects, such as falling debris, with a single headbutt. He also has incredible physical strength, speed, and durability, being able to quickly ram into and destroy Giant Infernals with incredibly fast headbutts and fire himself from a massive cannon to be used as a deadly projectile.
Haran was a man with dark circular tattoos surrounding his eyes, and five tattoo stripes vertically running across his chin to upper lip. He shrouded himself in a white cloak, with a jumper that has a dark cross-insignia, white trousers with pentagonal patterns, and white shoes. After taking the form of a Demon Infernal, Haran's skin darkened into a charcoal-like colour. He gained two horns that spurt out of his forehead, and his tattoos turned white. Haran was a loyal subordinate of the White-Clad, willing to go as far as transforming himself into an Infernal to fight members of the Special Fire Force Company 8. As a human, Haran mainly used a double-sided knife in combat, preferring to fight in close-quarters, but also had skill in hand to hand combat. Upon becoming an artificial Infernal, Haran's speed and strength increase to the point where he can easily repel Arthur Boyle's attacks.

Just below her chest, is a red sun-like figure on the white robe. Without her crown, her eyes are revealed, and their color is solid white. After connecting with the Evangelist, she manifests a third eye on her forehead. While initially quiet and somewhat nonchalant, Haumea soon reveals herself to be playfully enthusiastic about her schemes and goals. Even though Shō is her equal, she is not afraid to treat him like a child and even use her abilities on him to get what she wants. Her upbeat attitude comes with cruelty and sadism to friend and foe alike. Brimming with confidence, she dismisses concerns that she has revealed too much about the White Clads' goals or she might be overwhelmed by multiple opponents. As shown when Arthur's plasma repelled her electric signal, Haumea can react very childishly, grunting and showing obvious annoyance. She has also demonstrated an impulsive nature and a short temper when dealing with Charon's repetitive questions even as a child. Despite this she has faith in his ability to fix her mistakes. The first time she shows genuine distress and pain is while summoning a Demon, something that leaves her weeping and shaken until the process is complete. While she has great talent with being able to commutate through Adolla she shows signs of discomfort or stress when dealing with it. Her past reveals Haumea's sadistic personality Haumea has adapted to the Spontaneous Human Combustion and awakened her Ignition Ability as a Third Generation. She utilizes her Ignition Ability as an Electric Shock User, Dengeki Tsukai). She takes her rank as Captain seriously, and she doesn't hesitate to remind lower-ranked members of their place. She also has a sovereign-like complex, which she typically expresses towards men under her command. She manipulates people using her charm and beauty to get her way, while she's also being a dominant and controlling person who thinks of others as insignificant; by going as far as using her own comrades as stepping-stones from her throne. Hibana's highly ambitious, she wishes to gather as much data on Infernals as she can Hibana is a Third Generation pyrokinetic, who has the ability to create flower-shaped flames through her hands or fan — an ability she calls "Clematis". In this form, their heads resemble that of a kitsune with ears and facial markings. Her twin sister is Hinata and her care taker is Benimaru.

The captain of the Holy Sol's Shadow is a member of The Holy Sol Temple. The unnamed captain was a middle aged man with fair hair, light eyes and a large nose. He has several scars on his upper body. While not on a mission, he wears the same basic rags the rest of the Shadows wore. When getting into battle, he wears a white harlequin uniform with a mask featuring curved eyes and no mouth. When moving covertly, he wears black cloaks over there uniforms. The Captain of the Shadow of the Holy Sun possessed an extremely fanatical devotion to the Holy Sol religion, as well as an insanely staunch belief that no individual had any value. He believed that only the team and the wider collective had true strength and propose, and 'his collective' in particular, should devote themselves entirely to their faith without question, a point which he ruthlessly drove home to any of his subordinates throughout extremely brutal means. With the idea being that a group will always be able to come back together and being alone meant being disconnected from humanity, it results in the Captain appearing mostly devoid of emotion and personal identity. Even when in exterme pain or ordering the murder of innocent people, his face remains deadpan and unfeeling. Being a Third Generation, he could create flames to burn objects. He was also able to ignite his sword, using both his swordsmanship and power in combination to create an unpredictable fighting style that emphasized controlling air currents to misdirect attacks. As he was the one who trained many of the other Shadows, the Captain knows how to counter most of their fighting styles and overpower them. However, this faith in his knowledge causes him to underestimate his opponent's ability to grow or improve independently.

After his encounter with Rekka's superiors, Huo Yan had one of his arms cut-off by a fire arrow. In contrast to his long-time friends and team-mates Karim Flam and Rekka Hoshimiya, Huo Yan is a rather laid-back and responsible individual, who doesn't like to get worked-up and waste time with meaningless fighting. Huo Yan is a Third Generation pyrokinetic which grants him the ability to generate his own flames. Using hand-to-hand combat in conjunction with his Ignition Ability, he is capable of killing Infernal's with ease, using very quick and precise movements. He has shown to be a powerful combatant despite having lost his right arm.

After awakening her Adolla Burst, in doing so, she activated her pyrokinetic abilities and became a Third Generation. ADVERTISEMENT Appearance Inca's Appearance Inca in her White-Clad uniform. Inca is a young woman with short pink hair, pink eyes, and a thin build. When using her Ignition Ability, her pupils changes into a strange five point star-like symbol. Whilst at school, she wore a standard school uniform that consisted of a dark a knee-length skirt, and a long-sleeve light shirt with a dark ribbon on the collar. During her escapades of thievery, Inca would don a dark jumper with eye-like circles on the hoodie, matched with a checker-board patterned scarf to hide her face. Two years ago, during the Great Fire, she wore a light t-shirt with the words "乱DMC" in the middle, and dark grey shorts, and brown sandals. As a member of the White Clad, she wore a sleeveless puffy white onesie, with a darkly colored fabric under the white outer layer. She wore white sandal-like shoes that covers the majority of her feet, except her toes and heels, and she had golden circlets around her biceps and neck, as well as a black and gold crown-like object on her head. The most noticeable feature was her huge padded sleeves. ADVERTISEMENT Personality Two years ago, Inca felt she had very little purpose in life and actually wished for herself to spontaneously combust.[1] However, during the Great Fire while she was surrounded by the flames and witnessed lives burn away in a hopeless situation, she felt a strong desire to be alive, even so far as feeling exhilarated rather than despair in the presence of the terror of the flames. Inca Robbing Inca blackmails an elder man for his valuables. Now, while Inca values life above all else and claims living is more important than anything else, it is her own life she values most and is generally indifferent about the lives of others, seeing them more as tools for her own ends. Inca is greedy, narcissistic, selfish and a thrill-seeker. She believes that people should give their valuables to her willingly as she is helping to save their lives. She has a borderline fetishistic obsession with danger and an apparent invincibility complex due to being able to see and dodge any attack from fire or heat before it happens. Claiming to only feel alive when in danger and cheating death, Inca is an adrenaline junkie that despises the idea of a world without the sensation of danger or death defying circumstances. She will recklessly place herself into possibly fatal disasters to feel a rush of excitement and loves when chaos emerges out of peace, embracing rather than fearing it. The fact that she has no regard for the law or lives of others, only willing to save people for personal profit, shows high degree of narcissism, as well as her very little regard for her own safety strongly indicate that Inca is a sociopath. Inca's Desire Inca excitedly imagines herself brutalized. Selfish at times, Inca originally was willing to risk her life to save her friends. However, Inca will chase after her own desires more than anything, being highly indifferent about what they cost. She has expressed extreme distaste to abiding by rules and doing what others tell her to do, wanting to make decisions for herself. She desperately values her own freedom more than anything else and hates people trying to make choices for her, and has gone so far as killing friends should they attempt to stop her from exercising it. Ironically, her love of danger and abilities created a sense of destiny and fate that she strongly believes in. This deterministic idealism formed due to the presence of her powers, particularly when they chose to appear and work to their fullest. This strong belief and her selfishness have appeared to absolve her of any sense of responsibility for her choices and actions, which only furthers her danger seeking obsession. While she resists the various attempts to recruit her or take her into protective custody, Inca concludes that being protected and living a safe, but boring life is her greatest fear. She views living a lifestyle where she knows she could lose her life at any moment as the ultimate thrill, a life so exciting that nothing can top it. It is in this pursuit of selfish fulfilment, that she willingly allies herself with the Evangelist in order to feel an even greater sense of danger that the other side cannot offer her. Her excitement is almost flirtatious when Shinra promises to chase her as an enemy rather than trying to help her. After the Cataclysm and being brought back from death, Inca realized it wasn't what she thought it would be. She has reverted to a more realistic person. Inca is very cheerful, flirtatious and outgoing. Wanting a new goal, she fell in love with Shinra because he is the reason she was able to experience death and now wants to live a life where she doesn't die and to experience many things. She is very forward with her feelings and remarks such as calling out Arthur for being a loser and wanting to make babies with Shinra, exclaiming she wants him to continue chasing her further showing she still holds her thrill for adrenaline and danger, but to a lesser extent. ADVERTISEMENT Background Inca Trapped Inca trapped in the Great Fire. During the Great Fire in Tokyo in Year 196, Inca witnessed firsthand the destruction of the flames. At the time, she had little purpose in life, but after feeling exhilarated in the presence of the flames, gained a passionate desire to live. Shortly after, she started making her way away from the flames so not to get hurt, but on the way, discovered that she had awoken the ability to sense the path flames will take before they occur through the form of scent, which led her to easily avoid the flames and escape the disaster. It is known that Inca used to get annoyed with her father very often, the same way Charon gets on Haumea's nerves, but he had passed away before she got over it.[2] Despite losing a lot during the Great Fire,[3] she used her new-found power with Panda and Sancho to rescue people immediately from house-fires in exchange for their valuables, leading to her becoming famous across Tokyo for being a Fire thief. She is known to get to fire scenes before fire fighters. ADVERTISEMENT Abilities Inca's Ability Inca using her ignition ability. Two years ago, Inca acquired the ability to detect the pathway that heat[4] will take via her sense of smell, leading to categorizing herself as a Fourth Generation.[5] These abilities allowed her to know how fires will spread, explosions will trigger and how ignition abilities will act. She could even dodge attacks from Charon by tracking the thermal energy stored in his body and kicks from Shinra with ease. Two years later, Inca fully awakened her Ignition Ability and her Adolla Burst. In addition to being able to see the pathways of flames, she was able to trigger explosions by running her fingers across the air. The weakness of this attacks was that Inca cannot choose when these invisible pathways appear, meaning she is defenseless if they do not appear. She can also create path waves of fire by running her finger aside from explosions. Adolla Burst As the Fifth Pillar, Inca possessed both the Adolla Burst and the Adolla Link. Through the Adolla Link, Inca is able to sense the strong emotions of others who have experienced that Adolla and transmit them to other users of the Adolla. She was also able to predict when another user of the Adolla Burst is about to awaken. ADVERTISEMENT Plot Fifth Pillar arc Inca excited Inca excited over the many fire outbreaks. While walking with her classmates, Inca smells an upcoming fire and excuses herself. With a burst of energy, she sprints to a park where she meets with Panda and Sancho. Inca tells them she hopes the victim will be a rich person. After explaining to Panda that her abilities awoke in the Great Fire two years ago in exchange for losing a lot, they all don their masks and prepare for their harvest time. Inca manages to break into a man's house as soon as a fire suddenly breaks out in his home. He begs her for help - to which Inca has no problem with, but only if he makes it worth her while by providing something of value. After giving her his savings, she and the guys get him out of the house uninjured. As the fire fighters arrive, a crowd gathers and notice that the Fire Thief has struck again. Back at the park, Inca greedily states that she's splitting the money into a 60/20/20 share in her favor. Sancho then questions her ability, and Inca goes on to say that she's neither a Second Generation nor a Third Generation due to not being able to create or manipulate flames, making her the first of a kind Fourth Generation. Suddenly, the First Pillar appears behind her, stating that plenty of danger will be coming her way very soon. Startled, Inca wonders who the woman was, and then grips onto her skirt as she sniffs out a new danger. Inca Vs Charon Inca attacks Charon. Running toward it with a smile on her face, she sees multiple huge rays of light shining from the ground, getting excited about the fact that many fires are about to occur all over Tokyo. While overlooking the many fires, Inca thinks this amount of victims will make them the largest amount of money, but both Panda and Sancho step back from the situation and try to stop Inca from endangering herself. A large man suddenly appears behind the trio, exclaiming that Inca must be the Fifth Pillar. A confused Inca is left speechless and Sancho tries to pull Charon away, but Inca sees a line going through Sancho's chest. Before they knew it, Charon as killed him. With a heavily beating heart and finding it hard to breathe from the anxiety, Inca is told that she will become used to death working for the waiting Evangelist. After asking why Charon needs her, Inca's Third Generation powers awaken and she follows a thread with her fingers, from the 'Start' to the 'Goal' and creates an explosion. Charon, after being hit with multiple explosions, realizes Inca has awakened her Third Generation powers while flames sprouting from what seems to be thin air to the average person. Inca tells Panda to run and then leads Charon away from her friend and into the city. Still confused, she manages to dodge Charon's various attempts to grab her and continues her barrage of explosions against him. Inca spots a thread coming from the skies and landing on Charon, upon which Shinra arrives and knees Charon in the face. Shinra exclaims the 8th Company will protect her, leaving her ever more baffled, but also sarcastically displeased. She watches as the two start fighting each other, much in Charon's favor. After collecting her thoughts, Inca expresses her disinterest in joining either of them, stating she makes her own decisions. Refusing Charon's attempts to trap her in a life without freedom due to her Adolla Burst and Shinra's offer of protection because it would only lead to a boring life without any thrills. Agitated with the situation, she sees a cluster of multiple threads and doesn't hesitate to start waves of explosions to cover her escape from both the Fire Soldier and White Clad. She is eventually captured by Charon's gang, demanding to be cut lose while also yelling at Shinra to let her escape on her own, leaving Shinra confused. She once again expresses her disinterest in not joining either parties or a boring life. A tied up Inca watches as Shinra is beaten down by Charon. She watches the battle unfold and sees the giant shadow of Shinra's Hellfire before it finally actives and blasts Charon out of the way. Though this proves in effective as Charon is able to get back up and bring Shinra to his knees. With the fight going poorly, the White Clads prepare to withdraw after the Fire Force manages to kill a Demon Infernal and Haumea is in danger. Shinra tells her to use her powers to break free, but Inca notices that she can't see any threads to create explosions with. She concludes that this means she is fated to join the White Clads. She thinks introspectively about her possible fates. Joining the Fire Force would lead to her having to pay for her crimes, but would be a life of security. She then pictures herself being left dismembered and beaten as the end result of staying with the Evangelist's side, much to her arousal, and being her final thought before telling the goons to take her with them. She understands that she'll run into more danger with the White Clads, much to Shinra's disapproval. Inca Kills Panda Inca joins the White-Clad. Shinra highlights the number of people who have died in this event because of this cultists and that she is throwing her life away. Inca states that she doesn't care about others' lives and that she actually does care about her own; thinking of life as precious and only worth living through the fear of losing it. Shinra tries to punch her but ends up knocking down the goon holding her before getting punched away by Charon. Shinra, outraged by this selfishness promises to hunt Inca down for this, promising to kill her, to which she blushes and says that that's a much better option than him protecting her, and that she'll wait for him, much to Shinra's confusion. Leaving with Charon. She meets Haumea for the first time, noting her electrical aura that could hurt her with a touch. Panda manages to find them and tries to avenge his brother's death and protect Inca from this people. Inca feels confused about the situation, almost hesitant, unsure of how to react. Eventually, she sees the thread of flames locked around Panda's figure, and the next action was almost inevitable; she burns her friend alive, burning her old life away in the process as she walks away with the White Clads having joined them. Joker (ジョーカー, Jōkā) is a former pyrokinetic and a self-proclaimed anti-hero that serves as the Fourth Pillar's guardian. Being abandoned as a child, he was raised and excelled in the assassin group Holy Sol's Shadow, under the moniker of Five-Two. After experiencing an Adolla Link and losing his left eye in the process, he gained the desire to discover the truth of the world by any means necessary.Joker is an extremely skilled hand-to-hand combatant, able to effortlessly dodge Shinra's fiery kicks as well as trade even blows with Leonard Burns. In his youth, he was a prodigious fighter of the Holy Sol's Shadow and displayed notable skills with a knife, being able to quickly overpower larger opponents with ease. Joker has incredible physical strength, as shown when he is able to use his tongue to push himself up from the ground, and knock a trained assassin to the ground with a single punch. Joker is a mischievous man who works behind the scenes to accomplish his goals. He values the pursuit of truth above all else, believing that truth is only valuable form of justice and that he should abandon all restraints to find it. Even as a child, Joker was shown to be deeply curious about the unjust nature of the world and wanted to be strong enough to find and understand the answers to his questions. Joker is a tall man with long, black, stringy hair that falls below his shoulders, and a concentric circle-shaped iris in his right gray eye (purple in the anime). Despite being a drifter of sorts, Joker is surprisingly well-dressed. His typical outfit resembles the dress of Victorian or Edwardian gentlemen: a black bowler hat, white button up dress shirt underneath a waistcoat (burgundy red in the anime), an ascot or cravat or red scarf around his neck, trousers, a purple bandana covering his left eye, and (possibly) black Oxford shoes. He is commonly seen smoking a cigarette, and usually carries a menacing grin on his face.
Karim Flam (カリム・フラム, Karimu Furamu) is a former priest, and a Second Generation Lieutenant of Special Fire Force Company 1. Karim is a young man with short, straight dark grey hair that is brushed towards the front, with the dark-colored hair at the sides being shaven. He has small and lazy dark eyes and is generally seen with an irritated expression. His outfit consists of a dark-colored cassock, topped by a light overcoat-like garment with a high collar and a skirt-like garment, dark shoes and a pendant with a cross-like symbol as a charm — an outfit which is shared amongst three Company Commanders of his brigade, instead of wearing bunker gear. Karim usually wears headphones, and, in combat, is seen wielding musical instruments. Karim is a rather serious and cautious individual, showing a high disrespect towards strangers, which can result in him insulting people. He also has a bad habit of repeating himself, recycling through the same words and phrases in the same sentence. This results in poor communication and confusing the people he's trying to talk with. Karim gets annoyed rather quickly, even with his comrades, and shows a dislike for playfulness when it comes to a fight. Though somewhat brash and bad-tempered, Karim has portrayed respect towards his colleagues and abides to the etiquette of Special Fire Force Company 1. He has great leadership skills as he was able to quickly utilise all resources to protect a weakened group from a sniper attack. Karim is a Second Generation, who has awakened the ability to generate ice using "Thermoacoustic Refrigeration" — an ability that allows him to collect heat energy from an external source inside the instrument and then transform the energy into sound, thus decreasing its temperature. Repeating the loop several times creates ice, which can be launched at opponents or be used to incapacitate Infernals. In simplistic terms, Karim has compared his ability to how air conditioning functions.[2] While he has shown this ability without tools, the effect is significantly magnified through using his musical instrument. Karim also carries a bell, which he can use to create an alarming noise that can, with the help of his ability as a Second Generation, reduce the amount of heat and collect it for his instrument. His control over his ice is so precise that he can leave air holes inside it to allow trapped targets to breath and he is able of freezing an entire Firestorm almost instantaneously. Karim demonstrated the proficiency to think and come up with an effective plan in a very short amount of time, making him strategically adept
Karin Sasaki (火鱗 佐々木) is a former member of Special Fire Force Company 4. Karin's eyes feature narrow lizard-like pupils. His hair is primarily black with his lengthy and his sharp bangs are red. He normally wears a Special Fire Force orange jumpsuit or the standard bunker gear when on a mission. Karin is rude and arrogant, believing that Shinra Kusakabe did kill his own family and antagonising him because of it. He is also willing to believe whatever news or rumors tell him while his own friends are more sceptical. Despite his judgemental attitude, Karin does corporate well with the rest of Company 4 and fully believes in the group's motto: Never leave a man behind and protect the survivors. Due to his calm nature, he is able to discuss matters with other Fire Force groups politely. Konro's Third Generation ability allows him to ignite his shoulders and forearms, allowing him to punch objects with a lot of power. Even without his ability, he could destroy an Infernal's core with just brute strength. After overusing his Ignition Ability and developing Tephrosis, he lost the ability to fight. Using his abilties will cause him collapse shortly after activating his flames and these effects are worse if he hasn't fully recovered.

Maki respects Takehisa Hinawa a lot, due to them both being former soldiers. Though a kind-hearted person, she has the exterior of a capable fighter, easily defeating both Shinra and Arthur Boyle, who are both Third Generations, without hesitation in a fight. Maki also likes using her ability for fun, as she shows enjoyment in creating fire creatures. and to comically cry when they get destroyed by enemies or her own teammates. At times, when fellow Fire Soldiers tease Maki by calling her names, she mistakenly hears people call her a "gorilla cyclops", which she gets furious about. Maki is a powerful Second Generation pyrokinetic, who can control flames from an ultra-wide distance. In doing so, she can handle herself against two Third Generations simultaneously, being able to extinguish and absorb their generated flames into a giant fireball. Maki's abilities provide defense for her entire team, as she can reflect incoming fire attacks and use an opponent's flames against them. Without enough time she's unable to deflect or redirect a fire with too much driving force, she is still able to alter its shape in order to reduce its impact. With time to prepare, she is able to hold back explosions powerful enough to destabilize Tokyo's foundations before moving them deeper underground to ensure it is safely extinguished. She was noted to be exceptionally skilled in combat several times and was characterized as a Witch (魔女, Majo) by Takehisa. However, Nataku suffers from a debilitating sense of anxiety caused by always trying to do the right thing and live up to the standards of other people. This means that he has a deep fear of failure and cannot admit to being incapable of doing as he's told. Because of this, he always goes the extra mile to achieve the goals that other people have set for him, be it studying to become a doctor, or violent pyrokinetic training exercises, even though he feels like this sense of responsibility is destroying him from the inside out. Ogun is a Third Generation pyrokinetic, giving him the power to create and utilize his own flames. His strength earned him recognition as the Star Rookie of Company 4. His ability allows him to create multiple spear and sword-like weapons out of his flames, which he can launch at his opponents from a distance that possess great offensive and long ranged power. He uses these flames to act as boosters for a hover-board. Using his abilites in this way allows Ogun it quickly move across all manners of terrain and fly through the air. Saying that he was getting "fired up" was a particular favorite phrase of his. These qualities were what led Tamaki Kotatsu to admire him and eventually develop romantic feelings for him Rekka was a Third Generation pyrokinetic who had the ability to generate flames from his arms. In addition to his raw firepower, he had immense physical strength and martial arts skills. He was able to suffocate Tamaki into unconsciousness with a bear hug and could kill an Infernal with a single punch[4]. Rekka also had great reflexes: able to dodge the myriad of missiles Takeru Noto sent his way during their sparring match with ease. The majority of his facial features were composed of his mouth, though he has no lips and his large teeth were always visible. As a human, Setsuo appeared to be a troubled and psychologically disturbed man, and was dubbed insane after becoming a serial killer. Setsuo had no concern for the well-being of others, as he recklessly directed his flames and burned two people, and displays ill intent. As an Infernal, Setsuo retained his psychotic behaviour to an extent and became driven with killing everyone in sight, bringing them painful death in the process. Setsuo transformed into an Infernal while having a strong attachment to his life and as such he maintained his strong consciousness and self-awareness. The younger brother of Shinra Kusakabe, Shō was abducted by the White-Clad after he awoke the Adolla Burst as a baby, henceforth becoming the Third Pillar. After meeting his older brother and viewing his memories of their family from before Shō awakened, Shō begins to rebel against the White-Clad and the Evangelist, forcing him to be put into an unconscious state by Haumea. Shō is a young teenager with large, bright crimson red eyes and pure white hair with bangs that fall in front of his face.[1] Just like his brother, the pupils of Shō's eyes are white. His brother Shinra calls him adorable and many people have noted that he looks like an angel. He dons the uniform of the White-Clad: a white jumper with a red cross Sol God symbol on the front that is cloaked by a white sheet, white gloves, and white trousers tied by a quilted belt. The same quilted patterns are across the sleeves of his jumper. He wears long white boots that reach up to his knees at the front and carries his katana on his right hip. In spite of his angelic appearance and innocent beginnings, Shō is cold and emotionally distant. In sharp contrast with his older brother, Shō is originally completely indifferent to his family relationships. While he accepts that Shinra is his blood relative, he expresses no compassion towards him beyond mild curiosity upon meeting him for the first time, going so far as to express his disgust at the thought that they are brothers during later meetings. As he has spent the majority of his life under the Evangelist's care, Shō thinks of 'it' as his only parent and claims to have no memory of his mother and feels no love towards her (much to Shinra's anger). Shō's Fourth Generation pyrokinetic ability allows him to take heat from the expansion of the universe and slow down time. During the Cataclysm, the link to Adolla from Earth is strengthened to an extent that he no longer requires Grace to "bless" and amplify his link. He quickly and easily overwhelmed Faerie despite his ability countering Shō’s time manipulation, easily bested his brother in their first fight and rematch, as well as managed to defeat Faerie twice despite his own immense power and advanced age.

He is a very serious individual and doesn't like wasting time by joking around; never beating around the bush. As such, all but Akitaru quickly becomes genuinely scared of him and avoids being around him off-work, unless absolutely necessary. He has shown to possess strong leadership qualities, observing and understanding situations almost immediately and coming up with a plan. Hinawa is calm and resourceful, not bothered by Akitaru's antics, telling him to rather focus on the task at hand. As a member of the force, who had once served in the military, and a 'demon trainer' that both Shinra and Arthur has gotten very afraid of, it is suggested that he is very physically fit as well and is amply formidable in terms of hand-to-hand combat, although this is rarely showcased as he fights almost exclusively at long range. Pyrokinesis Takehisa's Ability Hinawa's Second Generation ability. Hinawa is a Second Generation who manipulates flames through the use of firearms, such as a submachine gun or a pistol, which he wields on the battlefield. When fired, these flames are strong enough to shake buildings as large as the Haijima Industries and blast through solid concrete before exploding According to his comrades, Takeru has a huge body and a small spirit. He has shown to be very polite and, despite having potential, dislikes being praised for his ability as a Third Generation. Tempe was reduced to insanity following centuries of unending pain. He was consumed by a desire to die at all costs. He strove towards this goal with a great, even religious, fervor that inspired the loyalty of other suffering Infernals who treated him like a cult leader. As a human he was selfish in the face of disaster, placing more importance in protection of his wealth than the deaths of his wife and daughter. This selfishness carried into his madness, believing that he needs others to die with him so that they can tend to him in the afterlife and those he kills him belong to him. Being a Demon Infernal, Tempe had access to tremendous firepower and was incredibly durable. Being able to blast foes aside with ease and enduring attacks from Ogun's Flamy Ink state without noticable damage. Due to his Infernal nature, he was effectively immortal and survived for hundreds of years. However unlike most Infernals and other Demons, Tempe remained sentient after his transformation. Retaining his intelligence meant he was able to speak and produce strategies in combat while also remaining in total control of his First Generation flames. He used them to create weapons such as a scythe, demonstrating impressive strength and skill while only using one hand.

He is interested in the matters of the Special Fire Forces, as he personally looked into Akitaru Ōbi's careers as a firefighter and attended the Rookie Fire Soldier Games as a spectator. As a scientist, Viktor is deeply interested in the near mythical Adolla Burst, going as far as crawling on the floor and grabbing Shinra Kusakabe's feet to get a closer look upon meeting him in person. Licht lacks an Ignition Ability but is incredibly intelligent, possessing a tremendous knowledge of chemistry as he created an explosive from Infernal Remains and is able to analyse abilities he cannot fully visualise. He was also able provide an escape route for Joker during the Rookie Fire Soldier Games, showing a level of careful planning and forethought from Licht. His planning ability makes him vital to the Fire Force's efforts to combat both Infernals and large fires.
Vulcan Joseph (ヴァルカン・ジョゼフ, Barukan Jōsefu), famously known as the God of Fire and Smithing (炎と鍛冶の神, Honō To Kaji No Kami) is the former engineer for Special Fire Force Company 8 Vulcan is a young man of average height and athletic build, with short red hair, shaved sides, and blue eyes. He has striped tattoos over his body: two black stripes around his neck, three black horizontal stripes on his shoulders, two on his upper-arms, and one stripe on his left forearm. When working, he wears a eerie-looking ram mask with twisted horns and goggles. He also wears somewhat dark trousers with a toolbelt, a white belt and white skull as the buckle, black boots and thick white gloves. He also wears a white t-shirt with black outlines, text on the torso saying "THE ANIMALS", and a black dog's paw below it. As a member of Company 8 he casually wears his animal-themed shirts with the bottom after of his bunker gear. On missions he wears the complete uniform except for the helmet. Vulcan is a very skilled engineer with a love for animals, who often fit animal themes into his builds. His goal in life is to build something like his family's Amaterasu to supply enough energy to the world, in order to save the world's endangered animals. Despite his grand ideals, he desires to remain independent. This is rooted in his total hatred for Haijima Industries as he blames them from the death of his family, which also initially bleeds into a total distrust of the Special Fire Force. Vulcan is very passionate about his occupation and loves creating new inventions. HIs approach to engineering involves building machines and then trying to smash them as hard as he can, out of belief that tools need to be as reliable as possible because important things cannot be allowed to break. Vulcan's first and foremost ability lies in his knowledge and passion for engineering, which he puts to work by building, as well as maintaining, almost all of Company 8's existing and new equipment. His engineering expertise is to such an extent that he could build equipment tailored to a member's specific abilities, most notably Maki's Iron Owls, which are used as flying battering rams as well as surveillance equipment. Due to having rigorously trained physically, well beyond that needed for his job, he is also surprisingly fit and could hold his own in physical combat.
Yona (ヨナ) is an inhabitant of Adolla, who is a subordinate of the Evangelist and member of the Knights of the Ashen Flame's Commando Unit a shapeshifter, Yona's apprearance changes rather greatly throughout the series. In his human disguised form, he is notable for his supposive artificial looking face, with a sharp chin and nose (which he is able cut paper with). He has long light hair with a distinctive parting sticking out at the front and back, with black hair at the back of his head. Yona has a sadistic and twisted personality loyal to the Evangelist. Being the founder of the Holy Sol religion has an obsessive and violent desire for all people of Tokyo to worship the Great Sun God. Expressing great interest in punishing Asakusa for their 'heresy'. He shows no remorse in killing humans and bathing in their blood. He is obsessed with art, viewing the chaos his plans creates as an art form and angrily destroying things that do not suit his tastes. Even killing someone if his facial modifications are imperfect without remorse.Yona is an immortal being seemingly from Adolla. His abilties are comparable to a Third Generation pyrokinetic, using his Ignition Ability to generate heat from the palms of his hands. He can uses his heated hands to manipulate the blood in a persons face, allowing him to change a persons facial structure via swelling. Using the same process, he can increase the temperature of someone's blood until their face explodes.
Kurono is a tall man with short black hair and very angular pale yellow eyes with light sharpened pupils. His right arm is brown and charred as a result of overheating his body which he typically wraps in white bandages and unwraps when he's about to fight. His attire consists of a plain grey collared shirt with a black tie and a white shinigami-esque skull tie pin, long black pants with a white skull belt, and black shoes. The Maddest" in contrast to Benimaru Shinmon's status as "The Strongest." Kurono is a very stern, confident and powerful individual. He is, however, totally fixated on the weakness of others and this obsession defines much of his personality. He believes an ideal world would protect the strong and crush the weak. Scientists working with him in the Development Lab believe that Kurono's love of destruction and violence caused him to destroy his right arm. Despite the cost of his actions, Kurono still craves destruction. He enjoys provoking the weak into fights and tormenting them Kurono is a very skilled hand-to-hand combatant, capable of quick movement and powerful strikes based around his charred right arm. He is also extremely skilled at using weapons he creates out of his smoke. Despite his appearance, Kurono is more then strong enough to lift a fully-grown person one-handed and is a very capable swimmer. His overall skill and power is stated to be equal to that of Benimaru Shinmon and he could easily make a name for himself in the field. Using his Ignition Ability, Kurono can emit Black Smoke which can reach temperatures of 130°C or 266°F. He can detect any movement within the plum of smoke and easily hide within it. Using the smoke he can force it into people's bodies resulting in them burning internally and dying. He can solidify the smoke to manifest weapons such as kunai, knives, a spear, a sword, and a scythe
A Fourth Generation (第四世代, Dai Yon Sedai), as dubbed by Haumea, is a pyrokinetic individual who has awakened their Adolla Burst and connected with an other worldly being through the Adolla Link. While the Adolla Grace is active, those who are part of the Fourth Generation gain an immense boost to their pyrokinetic abilities. In some cases, a pyrokinetic gains the ability to use their fire powers to defy the very laws of physics, something that cannot be achieved be an ordinary pyrokinetic. A Fourth Generation ability is dependent of the Adolla Grace, which the otherworldly being can revoke at any time. Furthermore, the being must be strong enough to sustain the Grace, otherwise the Fourth Generation Ability can only be utilized for a brief time, as little as only a single second.
A Demon (鬼, Oni) is a rare type of Infernal that is characterized by being horned and having a stronger heat signature compared to normal infernals. Like ordinary Infernals, Demons can be created by a Bug as well as being sentient. Demons most notable difference to normal Infernals are how difficult they are to kill, due to their strength and durability. Their skin is capable of withstanding being shot at by normal weapons, as well as being cut by strong Third Generation plasma and fire attacks, resulting in tremendous amounts of power needed to kill one.
The Infernals (焰ビト, Homura Bito), also known as the First Generation (第一世代, Daiichisedai), are victims of Spontaneous Human Combustion.
Spontaneous Human Combustion (人体発火現象, Jintai Hakka Genshō) was a worldwide phenomenon that appeared shortly after the first Great Cataclysm. It caused humans to instantaneously burst into flames. Spontaneous Human Combustion was caused by doppelgängers encroaching into the bodies of their human world counterparts. In some cases, humans could adapt to the flames and awaken the ability to manipulate flames or ignite themselves or objects. The Special Fire Force made it their mission to unravel the secrets behind it. Spontaneous Human Combustion is when a human becomes a fire elemental. There are three ways that this phenomenon can manifest, referred to as generations. Typically, when a human falls victim to SHC, they transform into creatures known as Infernals. However, as if to naturally combat this condition, humans have also begun to adapt to SHC, becoming second and third generation pyrokinetics. As both groups are partly resistant to being hurt by fire, people in Tokyo often end up becoming Fire Soldiers in the Special Fire Force; though not always.
First Generation, more commonly known as Infernals, are humans who have spontaneously combusted and have transformed into misshapen fire monsters. While in this state, the victim is able to create fire at will and is effectively immortal, unless their core, located in the chest, is destroyed. The change also leaves them in constant pain, which forces the majority of cases to lose their self-awareness and sanity, turning them into rampaging creatures, attacking indiscriminately or driven by simplistic desires from their human selves unless stopped by force. Some victims are able to remain in control of themselves to a certain degree or, in cases with a notably strong will, remain in complete control of themselves and use their new body and abilities freely.
Second Generation are pyrokinetic individuals who have the ability to manipulate preexisting flames. Though, they cannot create their own fire. Second Generation pyrokinetic abilities can take many forms; such as amplifying flames, redirecting them, and extinguishing them entirely.
Third Generation are pyrokinetic individuals who have the ability to create their own fire and control it. They cannot control preexisting flames though. Third Generation pyrokinetic abilities can take many forms; such as blasting fire jets from part of the users body, shaping objects and entities out of fire, and generating other fire based elements, such as plasma and electricity.
Hybrid Generation There is one known example of someone being both a Second and Third Generation pyrokinetic. This individual has the ability to both control external fire and create and control his own.
A Bug (蟲, Mushi) is an organism that originate from Adolla that has a spark of the Adolla Burst inside them. When exposed to humans, it forces Spontaneous Human Combustion in them by merging the person with their Doppelgänger, which commonly turns them into Infernals, but if compatible, they can become a Third Generation or presumably a Second Generation.
A Doppelgänger is an alternate version of oneself that exists in Adolla. For every person in the world, a doppelgänger exists, even for deceased individuals. Spontaneous Human Combustion is caused by their existence intruding and merging with their human world counterpart Much like the realm of Adolla itself, doppelgängers are tied to the collective unconscious of mankind; the thoughts and perceptions of other people are what create a reflection of a given person. This reflection possesses the abilities and memories of the original, but their personalities can be wildly different, as the doppelgänger is based on the common idea of who a person is; if an innocent and compassionate person is widely believed by others to be violent and cruel, then their doppelgänger will have a violent and cruel personality.
Adolla (アドラ, Adora), also referred to as Hell (地獄, Jigoku) in another era, is the world from which the Adolla Burst originates. Visions caused by the Adolla Link present Adolla as a landscape of blackened earth and black flames under a sickly pale-gray sky. Some of these visions feature burning human bones scattered around, while other visions do not show them. Strange structures and large orbiting bodies with eyes can also be present. Sho refers to this realm as another dimension that exists outside the normal world. The realm of Adolla is beyond what an ordinary human can handle, anyone who has experienced a vision of Adolla via an Adolla Link felt tremendously overwhelmed during the experience
The Adolla Link (アドラリンク, Adora Rinku) is a phenomenon that occurs when somebody experiences a connection to the world of Adolla, or a connection to another individual who is connected to Adolla. Ultimately, the exact nature of the Adolla Link is still a mystery, though it seems to be an experience that connects a human to the Adolla realm, or to an Adolla being, such as the Evangelist or the Woman in Black. The Adolla Link is formed by exposure to entities from Adolla; such as an Adolla Burst, a Demon Infernal, or an otherworldly being like the Evangelist.
The Woman in Black was one of the original Pillars used for the Great Cataclysm, who was used as a sacrifice for the Tabernacle, henceforth giving abundance to a part of the Chinese Peninsula and creating the Oasis. The woman has long dark hair and sclerae, as well as a smile that is regarded as demonic. She wears a cloak that is as black as night, which has a pointy hood and conceals her entire body except for her face. She notably lacks eyebrows. Being bitten by a Bug and turning into a Third Generation, she could expose her flames to individuals to prolong their lives and cure them of their hunger. Possessing the Ignition Ability and the Adolla Burst, she used its power to fuel the Tabernacle to give life to the Oasis. However her centuries within the Shintai have left her severely weakened as her powers have been dedicated to supporting her oasis. The woman in black was once an ordinary human who was taken by the Evangelist on a whim. Bitten by one of the Evangelist's bugs, the Adolla Burst awoke in her, followed by the two females coming to the Chinese Peninsula from the Tear in Space.[1] Shortly after the Great Cataclysm, the Woman in Black appeared before animals, and taught them words while they endured constant suffering and waited for their inevitable death in the arid land. Informing Schop that she came to the land to recreate the world after the Tear in Space, she cured the animals of their hunger and prolonged their lives significantly.
The Oasis (楽園オアシス, Oashisu), also called the Xinqin Dao Forest, is a forest on the Chinese Peninsula that was created after the Great Cataclysm. The forest was created when The Woman in Black sealed herself inside the Tabernacle and used her powers to build the forest to ease the suffering of the animals in the area. This allowed animals there to live for centuries and for plant life to survive and grow, despite the surrounding area being unstable molten rock. Eventually the animals were driven out by Tempe and his cult of Infernals, who hoped the destruction of the Tabernacle would cause an explosion powerful enough to kill them all. Weakened and unable to fight back herself, the Woman's Grace allows the Fire Soldiers investigating the area to defeat the Demon and restore order before sleeping once again.
The White-Clad (白頭巾, Shiro Zukin), identified early on as the White Hoods, are a cult organization that is led by the Evangelist. Using the Bugs to create artificial Infernals, they sought the Eight Pillars whom possess the Adolla Burst, to achieve their ultimate goal of re-creating the Great Cataclysm. While the exact size and structure of the White-Clad is unknown, the organization has separate divisions. There are also members such as Haumea who do not appear to be apart of an organizational structure despite serving the Evangelist and members who are operating undercover. Known divisions include: Butchers Great Cataclysm Execution Specialist Force Knights of the Ashen Flame Knights of the Purple Smoke
Shō Kusakabe (Leader) Arrow Flail Haran Mirage Yona
Ritsu (Commander) Orochi Iron Sasori
A Pillar (柱, Hashira) is a certain pyrokinetic individual who possesses an Adolla Burst. They are each protected by a Guardian from various organizations
Adolla Burst The Adolla Burst is a flame that originates from the realm of Adolla, also known as hell. The exact nature of the Adolla Burst remains unknown, however it has been referred to as a "pure and unsullied flame". It is being in possession of an Adolla Burst that makes someone a Pillar. However, not all people who possess an Adolla Burst are pillars; Faerie possesses an Adolla Burst, but he is not a pillar. It is currently unknown what differentiates a pillar from an Adolla Burst possessor who is not a pillar. The Adolla Burst allows them to connect with Adolla and with each other through the Adolla Link. Under the right conditions, it also greatly enhances their pyrokinetic abilities, allowing them to achieve feats that would otherwise not be possible, such as the manipulation of time and gravity.
The Special Fire Force Training Academy is a school where students are trained to become Fire Soldiers in the Special Fire Force.
The Rookie Fire Soldier Games (消防官新人大会, Shōbōkan Shinjin Taikai) is a simulation contest held once a year for the newest recruits of all the Special Fire Brigades. Before the competition, each participant has their Ignition Ability verified. The objective of the exam is for the entrant to siege the building and purify the soul of the "Infernal" inside as fast as possible, doing so while working their way past obstacles and saving those in need of any sort of assistance.
The Holy Sol Temple (聖陽教会, Seiyō Kyōkai) is the dominant religion of the Tokyo Empire, where Sisters, Priests and Monks worship Sol the Sun God. As a result, The empire's sovereign Raffles III is closely tied to the religion. The Holy Temple teaches that the Great Cataclysm burned away the culture of the world. Raffles I eventually found the Adolla Burst and used it to power Eternity-Style Thermal Power Generation "Amaterasu", which allowed the Tokyo Empire to become a safe haven for humans. After this point, Raffles would return to his wife and found the Holy Sol Temple. However, his wife noted that his behaviour changed dramatically upon returning. It is later revealed that Raffles I was replaced by Yona, who founded the church to serve the Evangelist. The true purpose of the Holy Sol Temple was to stimulate despair and make people believe that "returning to the great flame of fire" is the ultimate fate of all those who live. An ideology that would perfectly fuel the fire of the second attempt of the Great Cataclysm, as the flames of Adolla are linked to the collective human unconscious.

the "Lucky Lecher Lure" is a recurring gag and a source of both embarrassment and power for the character Tamaki Kotatsu. It's not a magical ability or a specific attack, but rather a chronic condition where Tamaki frequently finds herself in embarrassing, often sexualized, situations due to bad luck and clumsiness. Here's a breakdown: Clumsiness and Bad Luck: Tamaki is inherently prone to accidents and mishaps, often leading to her being caught in compromising positions. Humiliating Situations: These accidents frequently involve physical contact, exposure of her body, or situations where she appears to be flirting or seducing others, despite her intentions. Self-Blame and Annoyance: While she acknowledges the "Lucky Lecher Lure" as the cause, Tamaki is also easily annoyed and embarrassed by these situations. Integral to Her Character: Despite the comedic nature, the Lucky Lecher Lure is also presented as an integral part of Tamaki's character, highlighting her clumsiness, bad luck, and how these traits are intertwined with her development and powers according to a Tumblr post. Not a Conscious Ability: The Lucky Lecher Lure is not something Tamaki actively controls or uses as a tactic. It's a result of her inherent bad luck and clumsiness. Power and Development: Her "Lucky Lecher Lure" is also tied to her powers, specifically her Nekomata ignition ability, which manifests with cat-like features. Fan Discussion: Some fans have debated whether it's a legitimate power or just a running gag

It is known that many years ago, The Great Disaster caused calamity across the world to the point where continents began ripping apart, some to the point of becoming being uninhabitable. The Tokyo Empire was the only safe haven for civilization during the catastrophe. Thanks to The Holy Sol Temple and Haijima Industries working together to build the Amaterasu together with the aid of the Joseph family, an abundance of power and life was available to the empire, allowing more people to migrate to Tokyo and large amounts of technological growth. Due to this migration, Tokyo customs slowly changed, such as it becoming common to put one's given name in front of their family name (name-surname) and for people to refer to each other by their given names. These developments are not found in Asakusa, where they don't utilize the power of Amaterasu, as they do not believe in the Empire's traditions. It is speculated by Viktor Licht that these seemingly impossible abilities carry side effects that are dangerous for both the user and the world around them; Shinra surpassing the speed of light continuously ran the risk of manifesting a black hole. However, while Fourth Generation abilities have displayed some drawbacks, such as Shō's body being exposed to extreme cold when he cools down the universe, there have yet to be any instances of drawbacks that would normally result from the defiance of the laws of physics actually occurring.
