He jumped once, by choice. He was reborn, and forbidden to ever choose that again. Ayronee died believing the world was better without him. Hexia woke up cursed with the opposite problem: he cannot die until he saves it. Six elemental heroes. Six ancient horrors sealed since before memory. One swordsman whose signature strike leaves severed heads still blinking. He never wanted to be anyone's hero. He just couldn't stop protecting people long enough to notice he'd become one. Heads will roll.

Zone Six covers the northern approach's second arm — wide enough for seven corrupted forest giants, once great elk of the old Kurakot forests, now doubled by decades of dungeon influence to fourteen to eighteen feet at the shoulder, each hooffall registering as far as Kraignor's position in Zone Four. Ethene takes the giants personally; Titania and Solaria split the dense secondary mass moving in their shadow.
Solaria opens with a single word — "Six hundred and sixty-six" — before unleashing Amon Ra: six hundred sixty-six concentrated plasma spheres materializing in precise geometric formation, resolving individual trajectories in one second, then falling as a sustained meteorological event with very specific opinions about very specific locations. Six hundred twelve confirmed impacts.
Titania answers the seven forest giants with Dancing Flames — a three-dimensional fire-calligraphy choreography she rebuilt from scratch after Hexia, watching her train, observed that the fire trails linger and could be used as barriers. She severs ankle tendons at optimal angles, drops giants one by one (the third and fourth, which move together, fall to an adjusted pattern), and uses the lingering fire trails to funnel the rest of the secondary mass into Solaria's pursuit fire. The seventh and largest giant charges; she lets it pass through empty space and opens its spine at the one point — identified three days earlier — where the dungeon's enhancement runs thinnest.
Solaria's second barrage is precision rather than saturation: one hundred ten plasma spheres individually assigned to specific remaining creatures, tracked via a notebook she has been writing in continuously since the door broke — "I track all trajectories in real time. That's what the notebook is for." Titania's question about what else is in it gets a placid answer: "Everything."
Ethene closes the zone's left flank personally with Thirty Six Sins Strike — a thirty-six-hit unarmed combination building on its own momentum — finished by Volcanic Tears, driving the final target down into a localized eruption she summons beneath it. The impacts she's absorbed trigger Berserker's Blood, spiking her thermal output two hundred degrees; she deliberately spends five full seconds cooling before continuing, because two millennia have taught her recovery matters as much as the strike. Zone total: seven hundred ninety-seven, a figure Solaria defends down to the individual creature when Titania questions its specificity.
The Druid's reveal: As Ethene turns toward the shattered dungeon door, she registers a heat signature that isn't corruption — something older, in opposition to it. A tall, thin, robed figure stands ten feet outside the door, unmoving. Across sixty yards of six-zone combat, Hexia feels the change in pressure before he sees it and turns; his eyes find the figure's. Its voice — ancient, carrying with unnatural clarity through the chaos — speaks directly to him: "The six marks. I was told to watch for the six marks. I have been watching for a very long time... You are all here... At last."
This is the final scene of Arc 9 as currently published — an unresolved cliffhanger. The Lonely Druid has been deliberately waiting for the six marked heroes, implying the entire dungeon crisis was anticipated, possibly orchestrated, rather than a simple monster outbreak. Hexia's closing internal line, and the arc's final words: "Heads would roll. But first: he would know whose."
